Blooms after blooms after blooms!

If you look around your neighborhood, you might see pansies or violas planted in flower beds, decorating mail boxes, entries and even planted in containers.  They are cool-weather plants and just about the only thing constantly blooming this time of the year. If you planted them in the fall, the only maintenance this easy-to-grow plant requires might be occasional dead-heading (removing spent blossoms), removing damaged foliage and trimming any plant that has gotten leggy.  As long as you water your plants regularly, you should have a beautiful display of blooms. As with any other plant you purchase, read the label to make sure you fertilize them with the right plant food and the recommended feeding schedule. Miracle-Gro All-Purpose Water Soluble Plant Food 10-30-15 should keep your plants in good shape. One more thing, pansies & violas love sunshine, requiring a minimum of four hours every day. You should be able to find them in local nurseries easily. I believe the only problem you will have is making your mind on what colors and cultivars to choose from!

Those are some lovely flowers... I love the contrast in colors.

We live in an apartment complex at the moment, and they ended up tearing up what used to be Steph's flowerbed and seem to have the starts of new landscaping going on. We're curious to see what it comes in as. Hopefully, nothing too bland...

Of course, we usually spice things up with our own flowers and the such. We had a strawberry plant last year, and a tomato, I think...
