Cranberry Nut Bread

Cranberry Nut Bread
  • 1 cup cranberries chopped
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 well-beaten egg
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted shortening
Sift all dry ingredients together. Add cranberries and pecans. Then add eggs mixed with diluted orange juice and shortening, stir slightly. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour at 350°F.

Cranberries health benefits are plentiful. They should absolutely be part of your purification diet. This amazing little berry can not only add a tasty component to your day, but protect you from many diseases and disorders.
