Kerria Japonica, The Japanese Yellow Rose, is a beautiful bush that has been around for a long time. It was introduced in England in the earlier 1800's.
Kerria, “a rose relative”, is very easy to grow. The bush produces very airy long branches that could reach 6 to 8 feet. Likes well drained soil and loves a shady spot. This bush might be old-fashioned but its beautiful spring blooming display never gets old.
